A 39-year-old man has been arrested in two stabbings, one of which killed a 30-year-old victim and injured another.
At about 4:45 p.m. Oct. 27, officers responded to 47th Avenue and Baseline Road where they found a man had been stabbed. The victim was treated at a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, authorities said.
The suspect was identified as Nick Joseph Gil Hernandez. He also was identified as a suspect in an Oct. 26 stabbing at 51st Avenue and Baseline Road, police said.
Frank Sunn, 30, was found in that incident with at least one stab wound and pronounced dead later at a hospital.
Hernandez was booked into jail on one count of murder.
