Ahead of Memorial Day, the city of Phoenix opened a new Veterans Services Center.

The center will be a part of the VFW Post 720 near 48th Street and Thomas Road. It will offer emergency housing, medical navigation, PTSD training and access to food and clothing.

Post Commander Pat Romero thanked everyone who had put in hard work and time to transform areas in the post like the offices and food pantry.
