Phoenix man drowns in Lake Pleasant

A 32-year-old Phoenix man has been identified as the person who drowned Monday in Lake Pleasant.

DeAndre Taylor went underwater while swimming Monday morning and didn’t resurface, according to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office.

His body was found in the afternoon on June 26 after he was last seen in the Sunset Ridge area.
