A Phoenix man has been charged with kidnapping and aggravated assault after allegedly tying his girlfriend up with duct tape and beating her.
According to a Phoenix police report, on the night of Sunday, July 10 55-year-old Gregory Lavan Davis tied his girlfriend’s arms behind her back with duct tape and put duct tape over her mouth. He then hit her multiple times in the face with both an open hand and a closed fist and hit her in the shin with a hammer.
Police said the victim’s injuries were consistent with an assault.
