Phoenix looks to expand Shared Micromobility Program

The Phoenix Street Transportation Department is developing a strategy to expand a program that now allows use of shared e-scooters, e-bikes as well as pedal and adaptive bikes in the city’s downtown core and two nearby areas.

The Shared Micromobilty Program, which began permanently in January 2023 with vendors Lime and Spin, also operates to the south, west and east of downtown.

The department is considering options to expand the program's geographic boundaries and vehicle inventory, according to a release.
