Phoenix library lockers let borrowers pick up items when facilities are closed

Can’t make it to the Phoenix library by closing? Soon, that won’t be an issue.

The Phoenix Public Library is installing digital lockers outside of library branches so members can pick up a book or other item they’ve reserved after hours or when the library is closed on a Sunday or holiday.

Lee Franklin, the library’s community relations director, said the lockers will be a help to residents with busy lives.
