Phoenix holds ribbon cutting on new police headquarters

City of Phoenix officials held a ribbon-cutting for Phoenix Police’s new headquarters in downtown Phoenix on Friday, March 27.

“This is an important building for delivering a safer city and making sure we have more successful, healthier employees,” Mayor Kate Gallego said at the ceremony.

The former Wells Fargo building, at 100 W. Washington St. right next door to City Hall, provides 500,000 square feet of space and will consolidate several different Phoenix Police facilities, including the former headquarters building at 620 W. Washington St.
