Phoenix gallery to present ‘Ruins, Relics, and Rituals’ exhibit

Pieces selected ‘delve deeply into the intricate realms of history, memory, symbolism, and cultural practices’

The “Ruins, Relics, and Rituals” art exhibit, from members of Fiber Arts Center AZ, will be on display at a downtown Phoenix gallery.

The exhibition will be up from April 25 through June at the Olney Gallery at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, 100 W. Roosevelt St. An opening reception, free and open to the public with light refreshments, is on First Friday at 6 p.m. Friday, May 1.

Juror Heidi Dauphin, a mixed media/ceramic artist and exhibition coordinator at the Shemer Gallery, has selected pieces from artists that “delve deeply into the intricate realms of history, memory, symbolism, and cultural practices.”
