Phoenix family finds lost credit card — belonging to Alice Cooper

How an improbable happenstance led to a meet-and-greet with the rock and roll legend, and just in the nick of time, too

A gas pump in Payson brought together two Valley guys who ended up bonding over grandchildren.

When one of those guys is a rock and roll legend, it makes their meeting that much more improbable.

Jeff Guy and his family were in Payson, about 90 miles northeast of Phoenix, last Wednesday where they had been camping. The family visits the 5,000-foot elevation town to get a break from the desert heat often enough that they don’t miss a meal at their favorite restaurant.
