Detectives are looking for a woman who they say is among seven victims of a sexual assault.

Investigators have released photographs of two necklaces that were worn by the victim and have asked for the public’s help in finding her.

“We are concerned for her welfare and hope someone will recognize the necklace and help identify her,” police said in a release.    

The search is connected to a June 2022 investigation “into an extremely violent sexual assault,” police said, adding evidence at the time indicated it may have been related to another case on which detectives were working.

Detectives were able to identify a suspect, and police said Tyler Munguia, 25, was arrested in connection with the two crimes.

Additional evidence, including video evidence, led police to believe there were five more victims, officials said.

“​Detectives worked tirelessly to identify and locate those they believed were victimize by Munguia,” police said in the release.

“All but one of the victims were identified, located and agreed to aid in prosecution.”

All six cases were combined for prosecution, and this month a grand jury handed up an indictment against Munguia on 59 felony charges, including sexual assault and kidnapping related to the victims, police said.
