Phoenix detectives book suspect in homicide

A 32-year-old man has been booked for killing another man in a late-night shooting at an apartment complex, police said.

Officers arrived about 11 p.m. Sept. 21 at the apartment complex, 5775 W. Roosevelt St., and found Stefon Harris, 30, with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead  at the scene.

Detectives began an investigation and arrested a suspect in the slaying - 32-year-old Isaiah King, according to authorities.

"King made admissions to the crime during an interview and was booked on multiple felony charges to include murder," police said in a release.
