The annual open studio sale of artists Larry and Sandra Ortega is returning to the Sunnyslope area of Phoenix.
The gallery, 1844 E. Cinnabar Ave., will host the sale beginning at noon Sunday, Oct. 22. The new body of work is titled S.O.L.O.
“We have transformed our home into a sanctuary of art and we love the natural energy that has developed out of these events,” Larry Ortega, who hosts these art-centric experiences with his wife Sandra, shared in a press release. “We look forward to seeing the art-loving community and sharing the inspirations for our work.”
Sandra, once known for her ceramic sculptures and now a painter, and Larry, a classically trained painter who transitioned to a self-taught sculptor, will unveil new works for this event.
The Ortegas began hosting their Open Studio Sale five years ago.
