The city of Phoenix is considering adding six interactive touchscreen digital kiosks downtown with the goal of having them by the 2023 Super Bowl, which will be held in Glendale.
Passers-by will be able to use the sidewalk kiosks to view information on nearby restaurants and other businesses, activities happening in downtown that day, connect with city services or get directions. The kiosks can also provide free Wi-Fi to nearby devices.
When the interactive kiosks are not being used, they will display advertisements, similar to digital bus stop ads.
