One Peoria family already knows how critical access to quality pediatric care is. It saved the life of their son.
In his first year of life, Dylan McQueen’s family found themselves suddenly being introduced to specialty pediatric care with him in need of a life-saving heart transplant. His family spent many days either in a hospital, a clinic or living in-patient with Dylan, and the long drive from their home to varying hospital facilities compromised time with their other two small kids and family life in general.
They even had to go out of state for the gift of life he received just six weeks later.
