Phoenix Children’s Hospital announces $135M expansion to Glendale

New freestanding facility will break ground this summer

With West Valley growth dictating a major expansion for Phoenix Children’s Hospital, Glendale emerged as the best site.

The longtime care provider will build a $135 million Arrowhead Campus in Glendale to provide everything from in-patient services and surgical care to more than 25 sub-specialties when it opens in 2024.

Estimates indicate the West Valley population will grow at twice the national rate during the next five years, including a 25% increase in children by 2030.
