The Southwest Valley now has an emergency department dedicated to children as Phoenix Children’s officially celebrated its facility opening on Tuesday.
Avondale Mayor Kenneth Weise and community stakeholders joined Phoenix Children’s to cut the ribbon at the new Phoenix Children’s Emergency Department for the Avondale Campus.
With the recent expansion, the Avondale campus now offers 35,000-square-foot freestanding emergency department, plus a 71,250-square-foot, three-story medical office building that opened in December 2022.
