Nourish Phoenix, a community hub serving low-income individuals and families, recently received a grant from the Diane & Bruce Halle Foundation to support the development of its Community Learning and Wellness Center.
NourishPHX will use the funding to renovate the second floor of its headquarters at 501 S. Ninth Avenue in Phoenix. The renovation will expand classroom capacity, allowing the organization to increase the number of free classes, entrepreneurship programs and wellness offerings available to the community.
“We’re creating a place where clients can build community, support their well-being and move forward," said Beth Fiorenza, executive director of NourishPHX.

NourishPHX will use the funding to renovate the second floor of its headquarters at 501 S. Ninth Avenue in Phoenix. “We’re creating a place where clients can build community, support their well-being and move forward," said Beth Fiorenza, executive director of NourishPHX.
NourishPHX plans to introduce additional exercise classes, meditation and mindfulness workshops, and other programs centered on stress relief, mental health and overall well-being.
“Our 3,000-square-foot second floor hasn’t been fully used, so we’re excited to bring the space to life and expand opportunities for our community,” Fiorenza said.
NourishPHX offers a range of services designed to meet the needs of the community. In 2024, more than 600 participants engaged in its educational and support programs. With the expanded space, the organization aims to serve at least 1,000 participants annually.
Renovations are expected to be completed by fall 2026.
Fiorenza added, “We are deeply thankful to the Diane & Bruce Halle Foundation for believing in our mission and the people we serve. Their support is transformative for our organization and our community.”
