Current and former Major League Baseball players will highlight an evening of charitable giving that will include live music, casino games, food and spirits and more in downtown Phoenix.

The third annual Playmakers Classic, presented by Fanatics, returns to Arizona at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18, at Warehouse215, 215 E. Grant St.

Hosted by the Players Trust, the charitable arm of the Major League Baseball Players Association established in 1996, the event will feature a custom trading card booth, a silent auction, and more. Tickets are now on sale via the Players Trust website.

Notable current and former players set to attend include Corbin Carroll of the Diamondbacks, Bobby Bonilla, MLBPA Executive Director Tony Clark, Marcus Semien, Michael King, Dane Dunning, Brent Suter, among others.

Proceeds will go toward baseball-inspired youth development programs across the country and abroad in addition to other charitable initiatives created in partnership with Major League Players.

The event will recognize the $1 million in new commitments to the youth development organizations selected by the Players Trust including Learn Fresh, Project Béisbol, Metro Sports Fieldhouse, Athletics & Beyond, Baseball Island Foundation, and local support Project Baseball Arizona.

The Players Trust will also honor the Milwaukee Brewers’ Rhys Hoskins as the 2024 Philanthropist of the Year recipient.
