Peter S. Fine, CEO of Banner Health, has again been named to “Modern Healthcare”’s 100 Most Influential People in Healthcare.
The 2023 ranking marks his 10th consecutive year of inclusion in this distinguished group.
This recognition program acknowledges individuals deemed by their peers and the senior editors of “Modern Healthcare” to be the industry’s most influential figures in leadership and impact. Since joining Banner as its top executive 23 years ago, Fine has led the Phoenix-based system’s expansion across six southwestern states and its growing influence beyond the region.
“It is not the work of an individual but of a truly exceptional team that repeatedly earns this level of recognition,” Fine shared in a press release. “This honor belongs to all of Banner – our exceptional team members who make us the innovative, mission-driven, people-focused organization that we are.”
Fine has guided Banner to become one of the nation’s largest nonprofit health systems, with a fully integrated network of locations beyond its hospitals to bring care closer to communities.
He is listed at number 93 on the 2023 list of the 100 Most Influential People in Healthcare.
