Phoenix asks residents for input on Parks Master Plan

City updates plan for first time since 1988

The city of Phoenix is asking residents how they want to play.

Phoenix is devising a new parks master plan for the first time in three and a half decades and is conducting a public outreach process to ask residents what they would like to see prioritized as the Parks Department sets its long-term goals.

The city’s last plan went into effect in 1988. The new plan is scheduled to be approved in 2025, 37 years later.
