Phoenix art exhibit takes deeper look at people vs. ecology

Lessons about environmental stewardship are anywhere and everywhere. In a new exhibition at the Phoenix Art Museum, artists from around the world share their interpretations about people and ecology cohabitating.

The installation-sculpture hybrid “El Destino,” at the entrance to the Phoenix Art Museum’s exhibition “Widening The Lens: Photography, Ecology, and the Contemporary Landscape,” invites viewers to step up and gaze through 64 small apertures to view landscape images from the artist’s recent visits to San Juan, documenting her movement between neighborhoods.
