Gas prices in Arizona rose by a cent this week to top out at $4.63 a gallon, according to AAA Arizona on Friday.
Prices rose two cents in the Valley to hit $4.78 a gallon. Tempe also sees this rise with many places at $4. 79 per gallon and Costco being the least expensive at $4.25 according to GasBuddy.
“Crude oil prices have come down below $100 a barrel, helping drive down the cost of gasoline for consumers,” said AAA Mountain West Group spokesperson Julian Paredes in a release. “Whether this downward trend will persist remains in question with the continued instability along the Strait of Hormuz.”
