The three-hour workshops provide information about fair housing practices and laws, and explain housing discrimination investigations from the experts who conduct them. Fair housing practices apply to apartments, houses, condominiums and mobile home parks.

It is illegal for housing providers to discriminate against tenants, rental applicants, or customers based on race, color, religion, sex (including sexual orientation, gender identity or expression), national origin, disability, familial status or source of income.

Housing providers, tenants, social service agencies and advocates are encouraged to attend. For more information, call the Equal Opportunity Department at 602-262-7486 or 1-888-624-4611/Relay Friendly.
