Philip P. Cuicio

Philip P. Cuicio, 79Philip P. Cuicio, 79, of Mesa, passed away Feb. 20, 2007. He was born Nov. 26, 1927 in Chicago, Ill.He joined the U.S. Navy during World War II and was honorably discharged in 1948. He later was initiated into the Chicago Journeymen Plumbers' Local Union 130, of which he was a member for over 50 years.  He is survived by his wife, Yolanda (Modica), to whom he was married for 54 years; their five children, Gail Hedeen, Caryn Hall, Philip Cuicio Jr., Sam Cuicio, and Diana Beeson; and eight grandchildren.  Interment took place at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona Feb. 23. A memorial service was held on Feb. 24 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Apache Junction.Bunker Funeral Homes handled the arrangements.
