Peter Piper Pizza donates $5,000 to Phoenix Children’s Hospital

Also hosts patient’s birthday party

Posted

Peter Piper Pizza presented a $5,000 check to Phoenix Children’s last week and provided a patient with his own birthday party at a local restaurant.

Jacob was diagnosed and treated at Phoenix Children’s Center of Cancer and Blood Disorders. He recently turned three and celebrated his birthday at Peter Piper Pizza with the brand new Epic party package that included 20 friends, 60 minutes of unlimited game play, pizza and more.

Donations were raised during the openings of two Peter Piper Pizza Express stores earlier this year, where 50% of opening day sales were donated to Phoenix Children’s. The donation will be used to purchase about 500 books at Phoenix Children’s Hospital’s Emily Center Health Library for patients and family members.

“We are incredibly grateful for Peter Piper Pizza’s generous support of the Emily Center Library Book Fund at Phoenix Children’s,” said Phoenix Children’s Corporate Development Officer Alissa Parten. “Through their generosity, we’ve been able to purchase literature, novels and picture books for patients of all ages who are both in-patient and out-patient. Thank you, Peter Piper, for sharing our passion and commitment to delivering world-class family-centered care to our kids.”
