Sun City, AZ – Peter C Yarnevich II passed away on December 1st, 2021. He will be missed greatly by those who love and knew him.
Starting in 2016 Peter struggled with many critical illnesses with debilitating consequences. But he always did the best he could.
Peter is survived by his wife Marilyn of 58 years, his son Paul (Robyn) and grandchildren Matthew, Alexander, Noah, Caleb and Sage. Also his daughter Kristin (Chuck) and grandchildren Mason and Brody. Sisters Janice, Carol, Fran and brother Bob.
Peter was preceded in death by his son Peter III, his parents Peter and Edna.
Peter was born and raised in Michigan. Business took him to Arizona in 1982. He worked for many companies in executive positions. Later in life he started his own company, Professional Leasing Services.
Pete was a math wiz, a voracious reader, extremely smart with a quick wit. He enjoyed playing cards and internet poker. He loved talking to people to really know them by asking thoughtful questions and listening to their answers. Pete earned all-city and all-state honors in both basketball and football. He always enjoyed playing golf, basketball and enjoyed watching sports.
For many years, Pete volunteered with Saint Vincent de Paul, Andre’ House and Saint Williams Catholic Church. Pete always put his trust in God and never lost faith.
God has you in his arms Peter and we have you in our hearts.
A memorial mass may be held in Michigan in summer of 2022.
