Pets are near and dear to the hearts of many seniors in the Sun Cities, and so is finding a final resting place for them when they die.
Camino Del Sol Funeral Chapel and Cremation Center, 3728 W. Camino Del Sol, Sun City West, is currently in the permitting phase with Maricopa County to add a facility to take in furry family members.
“We are going to start out as a pet cremation facility and then will add places for a pet cemetery,” said Karen Battaglia, Camino Del Sol Funeral Chapel and Cremation Center director of funeral home and cemetery operations.
