The Pinal County Board of Supervisors is to hold a public hearing on the permit at an Aug. 16 meeting, which begins at 9:30 a.m. at 135 N. Pinal St. in Florence.

An application for an industrial use permit to allow the continued use of an outdoor vehicle and equipment storage facility on 1.25 acres west of South Warner Drive and south of West Houston Avenue in the Apache Junction area has been withdrawn.
The Pinal County Board of Supervisors was to hold a public hearing on the permit for Ryan Industrial Outdoor Storage, 4980 S. Warner Drive, at an Aug. 16 meeting at 135 N. Pinal St. in Florence.
The Pinal County Planning and Zoning Commission voted unanimously May 18 to recommend approval of the case with 13 stipulations.
Ryan Properties LLC is the land owner and applicant. Jason Sanks of Iplan Consulting is the agent.
The lot has been used for storage and transfer of goods since 2006 under prior owners, according to a written project narrative from Iplan Consulting.
“Process started three years ago when current owner tried to get an electrical box permit for SRP power. Pinal County advised that an electrical box permit required site plan approval first. Site plan approval can only be obtained after getting an approval for an (industrial use permit),” it states.
