Peoria’s food truck regulations come into focus

Final ordinance tentatively set for consideration in March

The food truck continues to be a common fixture on the Peoria landscape, and with that the city is nearing the update of its city ordinance to streamline requirements, best serve the industry in the city and comply with updated state legislation regarding mobile food vendors.

The Peoria Planning & Zoning Commission has scheduled a formal presentation tentatively for March 18
on the updated ordinance. City Council is tentatively scheduled to have final consideration April 20.
