As we move into 2025, I am excited for the opportunities that lie ahead for the city of Peoria.
To celebrate the success of the previous year, I invite you to join me for this year’s State of the City, where we will reflect on our progress, celebrate our achievements, and look ahead to the future we are building together.
Our State of the City kickoff event will take place on Tuesday, April 2, at 6:30 p.m. at Christ’s Church of the Valley Peoria. This special evening will include the premier of our 2025 State of the City video and the opportunity to connect with your city and fellow community members. As part of the evening, my family and I will be providing dinner from Postino WineCafe, following the program.
In addition to the main event, I will be hosting two community conversations to continue the discussion and hear directly from you:
- April 9 at 10 a.m. at Westbrook Village Lakes Ballroom: 19251 N. Westbrook Pkwy
- April 14 at 6 p.m. at the William L. Patena Community Center: 8335 W. Jefferson Street
Over the past year, we have made significant strides in advancing economic development, strengthening public safety, securing Peoria’s water future, and enhancing quality of life for residents. Between our economic growth, to the investments in infrastructure and education, we are positioning Peoria for long-term success.
Your participation in these events is essential as we continue shaping the future of our great city. I encourage you to attend, engage, and share your voice. Together, we are building a Peoria that realizes its full potential.
