A wastewater improvement project in Peoria has gone over budget nearly $200,000.
The city council approved additional funds in the amount of $188,909 to J.R. Filanc Construction Co. for unforeseen excavation expenses while making improvements to the 101st Avenue and Northern Lift Station Pretreatment System.
Peoria’s 2020-29 capital improvement program includes funding for upgrades to the facility, including the installation of an in-line grinder and replacement of electrical and instrumentation equipment.
