Peoria Unified to discuss possible changes in teaching models for next semester

At the next Peoria Unified School District governing board meeting, Dec. 10, the board will discuss possible changes in instructional models for the spring semester based on health data.

In the wake of increased COVID-19 cases and certain benchmarks reaching high levels, officials are preparing to return to virtual learning throughout the district if needed.

Data from the Maricopa County Department of Public Health shows that as of last week, the district is in the red in two of the three benchmarks — cases and percent positive.
