Peoria Unified student dies in OHV accident

A student set to enter Sunrise Mountain High School this week has succumbed to a head injury he received after an OHV accident in Payson.

Connor Branning, 14, was in a quad accident in which his helmet came off and was non-responsive, resulting in a reported air lift to Phoenix Children’s Hospital where he died from his injuries.

In recent days the community has come together for prayer meet-ups and, to cover his injuries, a GoFundMe account was created, which has raised more than $47,000.
