Peoria Unified School District strikes back on Ducey coronavirus letter

Legal counsel now involved in quarantine battle

The Peoria Unified School District has responded with legal counsel to the governor’s allegation that the district is breaking the law by having a policy that requires quarantines for unvaccinated students who are exposed to COVID-19 but exempting vaccinated students.

The district has asked the governor’s office to formally withdraw the allegation.

Legal counsel for PUSD sent a letter to the governor’s office stating the district is not acting unlawfully.
