Division from November election pours over into election of officers

David Sandoval was reelcted as president and Heather Rooks was elected as clerk for the Peoria Unified governing board for this calendar year, Jan. 12.

The usually routine election of the governing board officers at the beginning of every calendar year typically goes off with little fanfare.

But division from last year's election carried over into last night's board meeting.
