Peoria Unified governing board appoints 2 new administrators

The Peoria Unified governing board approved two new administrative appointments, at a public meeting Oct. 26.

The district welcomes the following administrators to their new roles within the Peoria Unified School District.

Adam Larsen was named the new executive director for facilities and planning. Larsen currently serves as the athletic director at Centennial High School and has been with Peoria Unified since the 2021-22 school year. Prior to his work at the district, Larsen served the Deer Valley Unified School District as athletic director, dean of students, teacher and coach. He earned his doctorate in educational leadership from Northern Arizona University.

Joshua Snow was selected as the district’s director of human resources. Snow joins Peoria Unified after working at Honeywell International as a senior human resources generalist. Snow focused on employee relations, investigations, recruitment, hiring, training, state and federal compliance and supporting more than 1,500 employees. Prior to working with Honeywell International, Snow worked in human resources for a construction company in Kansas. Snow earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in human resource management from Kansas State University.
