Peoria Unified changes isolation process for students who test positive for coronavirus

District follows guidance from CDC, ADHS

Peoria Unified School District has changed its COVID-19 isolation process for students who test positive.

If a student tests positive for COVID-19 and are asymptomatic or if symptoms have resolved, the student may return to school after five days — reduced from 10 days — but should wear a mask for an additional five days. This process is for vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals.

This change is effective Monday, Jan. 10.
