Peoria Unified braces as sick-out appears to be planned amid rising COVID-19 metrics

Teachers and staff may conduct sick-outs at Peoria Unified schools Jan. 11 in response to rising COVID-19 pandemic metrics.

Numerous teachers and at least one member of the Peoria Education Association have made posts on social media stating this will happen.

PUSD sent a letter today to parents stating that there may be a high volume of staff absences at some schools Jan. 11.
