Peoria to replace failing fleet shop

Age, needed repairs call for new facility

The city of Peoria’s aging facilities fleet shop is not in good shape.

The outdated facility is causing unsatisfactory working conditions and high ongoing maintenance costs, with upgrades needed to keep it operational and in compliance with agencies such as Arizona Department of Environmental Quality and Arizona Division of Occupational Safety and Health.
