Peoria to receive $20M in pandemic relief funds

Direct funds come from American Rescue Plan Act

As citizens across the country are receiving their $1,400 checks from the federal government as part of the American Rescue Plan Act, so too will states as well as local cities and towns start receiving their relief packages.

The state of Arizona stands to receive more than $12.3 billion.

Peoria Intergovernmental Affairs Director Thomas Adkins said the city stands to receive about $20 million in direct aid from the American Rescue Plan Act.
