Peoria store sells $1M lottery winner; Powerball, Mega Millions jackpots top $1B

A person playing The Pick is a $1 million winner after purchasing a ticket at a West Valley Albertsons.
The winning ticket for Saturday’s The Pick jackpot was bought inside the Albertsons at 8420 W. Deer Valley Road, Peoria, according to the Arizona Lottery.
There were no big winners over the weekend in either the Powerball or Mega Millions.
The combined prize for both now exceeds $1 billion.
The estimated jackpot for Monday night’s Powerball is $675 million. Tuesday’s Mega Millions will be worth about $480 million, lottery officials said.
