Peoria Police to buy negotiation response vehicle thanks to Congressional earmark

The vehicle is part of a congressionally directed spending project from Sens. Kelly, Sinema

The Peoria Police Department will receive a $103,000 negotiation response vehicle as part of a congressionally directed spending project from Arizona Sens. Mark Kelly and Kyrsten Sinema.

The earmark is part of a larger investment amounting to nearly $126 million dedicated to Arizona for priorities and projects recently announced by the senators.

Peoria Police say the negotiation response vehicle will provide working space and storage for essential specialized crisis negotiation team equipment used during police negotiations.
