Peoria Police seek assistance in locating endangered male

Peoria Police seek the public’s help in locating Christopher Wiersma, a 35-year-old male.
He is described as a white male, 6’4”, 180 pounds, with blonde hair and hazel eyes. He was last observed wearing a blue shirt with white lettering and black basketball shorts.
Wiersma was last seen early this morning, July 28, around 2 a.m. at his residence, near 83rd Avenue and Donald Drive in Peoria. He left the residence on foot, and it is unknown where he could have gone. Wiersma is on several daily medications due to medical conditions, according to caretakers He did not take these medications with him.
Officers have been actively looking for Wiersma, but have not been able to locate him.
He does not have a cell phone with him. Anyone who sees Wiersma is encouraged to contact the Peoria Police at 623-773-8311.
