Peoria police investigating 2 Centennial teachers on 2 separate incidents

Teachers put on administrative leave, no arrests have been made

Peoria Police are investigating two Centennial High School teachers on two separate incidents. The teachers have been put on administrative leave as police conduct the investigations.

Peoria Unified and Peoria Police have confirmed that the following teachers are being investigated: Angie Burlaka, COOP and child development teacher, as well as Haley Beck, world history, sociology and psychology teacher and soccer coach.

During the past week, the school has sent letters to parents explaining the situation and that no arrests have been made and no charges have been brought against the teachers.
