On-again off-again investigation spanned more than 2 years

The Peoria Police Department has concluded its investigation into the Liberty High School wrestling program and found no criminal wrongdoing.

Charges will not be submitted to the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office, and the investigation will be formally closed, a news release states.

It marks the end to an on-again off-again investigation that spanned more than two years in which detectives looked into sexual hazing allegations involving members of the program during the 2024 and 2025 school years.
