Peoria Police detectives with the assistance of Peoria SWAT arrested a 38-year-old man who is being charged with multiple counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
Stiven Awshana, of Peoria, was charged with 27 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor (Possession, Recording, and Distribution), four counts of molestation of a child, three counts of furnishing harmful items to minors, and two counts of endangerment, according to a news release.
Charges may be added or amended as this is an ongoing investigation, police said in the release.
