Peoria plans the return of its driverless pilot program

Robo Ride, Peoria’s fully electric, driverless shuttle opened to the public in the P83 Entertainment District only weeks before the COVID-19 pandemic struck.

But the Peoria City Councl will discuss bringing it back at a public meeting 6 p.m., June 15, in council chambers, 8401 W. Monroe Street.

Only this time around they are planning it for the Plaza Del Rio mixed-use medical park, west of Loop 101 and south of Thunderbird Road.
