The Peoria Planning and Zoning Commission at its June 1 public meeting will consider approval of a conditional use permit for the operation of a reception hall within an existing commercial center at 85th and Peoria avenues.
Casa Dorada Reception Hall would hold events Fridays and Saturdays nights between 7 p.m. and midnight, with office hours an hour before and after the event, and weekdays by appointment only.
No exterior changes are planned for the building, and the proposed reception hall will encompass three tenant suites and occupy a floor area of 4,230 square feet. Businesses within the center use a common parking area in front of the building, shared by its various tenants.
