Peoria picks up some heavy duty trucks for $5.2M

Will add to fire-medical, public works departments

Peoria council recently approved funding for a 3,000 gallon water tender will be at Lake Pleasant Station 199.

Peoria is purchasing some heavy duty trucks.

Council recently approved about $5.2 million to pay for seven new vehicles for the fire-medical and public works departments.

About $2.5 million will go to a new utility vehicle and water tender for the fire-medical department.
