Peoria mayor's personal company TYR Tactical to sell for $175 million

Peoria Mayor Jason Beck’s company TYR Tactical is being sold to Florida-based Cadre Holdings, another company that manufactures safety equipment and other related products for law enforcement, first responders and the military.

Peoria-based TYR Tactical is planning to sell for $175 million, including $150 million in cash at closing and $25 million of Cadre's stock, of which $1 million will be granted to certain employees of TYR Tactical.

TYR Tactical produced nearly $93 million in revenue in 2024.
